Visions of Masters: Book of Prints and Quotes

Here are a handful of images that will be apart of a book of prints and quotes titled “Visions of Masters.” This book serves to pay homage to major influential artists through a series of biographical mixed media collages.

The fact that each artist appears in the foreground of a collage of representations of their oeuvre is unique and powerful. It will be accompanied by quotes from each respective artist. It’s limited amount of text, each collage associates a name with a face and the art they created. It captures the essence of the phrase, “a picture is worth a thousand words.”

The ones selected, in no particular order, are Jackson Pollock, Diego Rivera, Alice Neel, Roy Lichtenstein, Joan Miro, Jean Michel Basquiat, Lee Krasner, Francis Bacon, Mark Rothko, Pablo Picasso, Georgia O’Keefe, Andy Warhol.
