My Father’s Place was a Jazz Club that was on Bell Blvd in Bayside, Queens, NY.
There was another more popular venue with the same name that was a music club located in Roslyn, New York. Many of the concerts organized and broadcast by the radio station WLIR (92.7 FM at that time) were recorded at the club, some of them are still available as releases.
These paintings were done on the walls within the club.
